BL4 are pleased to announce that half of the band (Pat and Barney) are taking their Banjo & Acoustic Guitar (along with their large bag of tunes) down to the legendary Tempest Brewing Co in the Borders for the very first time as the BL2 have been asked to play at their Springfest Beer Festival! And it’s very easily accessible by train from Edinburgh Waverley if you fancy a day out and a chance to get Tempest’s beers at their very freshest – just £11 day return to Tweedbank station on the new Borders railway. BL2 onstage time 5:30pm – Festival opens at 12 noon and there’s 2 Music Stages, 3 Tempest Bars, a Thistly Cross Cider Bar and a Gin Bar! Plus lots of lovely food from the best street food vendors.
